Creating a message manually
There are 3 different ways to manually create a message. The option you select is dependent on what production or inventory software you are using. The 3 options are:
- Message details file upload: Upload a message file that contains all the message details. This includes the consignment details as well as the carton details.
- Product group file upload: Manually create the consignment details and upload one file with all the product details.
- Carton barcode file upload: Manually create the consignment details, manually create the product groups and upload the barcode for each product group. This file is just a simple SCV of the carton barcode for the cartons within a group.
There are also the fully automated options for creating messages using the Meat Messaging web service or email service. Talk to your production or inventory software vendor about these options.
